Staff from the many stores at Mallard Road Retail Park made the August bank holiday a fun one, whilst raising money for charity, by holding a family fun day extravaganza!
The action packed day was a chance for the whole family to enjoy the summer bank holiday. There was a number of fun activities that appealed to all members of the family and all proceeds went to the British Heart Foundation.
Lara Mani from Homebase at Mallard Road Retail Park planned the event for months, she said: "All the stores at the Park wanted to do something together to raise money for charity and what better way then a family fun day!
Not only did we raise money for charity, but everyone visiting Mallard Road Retail Park had a fantastic fun packed day. Minky Moos came down to provide children's entertainment including face painting and there was also a bouncy castle.
Some members from AFC Bournemouth joined in the fun, along with the Springbourne Fire Brigade.
Heart FM sent out their 'Angels' to enjoy the event with live music from Neil Diamond impersonator, Tom Armstrong.
Each store will be ran a stall, from name the teddy bear at Paul Simon, to gaming on a big screen outside Curry's!
The Mallard Road Retail Park Family Fun Day was on Saturday 29 August from and precedings were opened by Bournemouth’s Mayor, Beryl Baxter.
